Whether they are represented by a legal counsel or other agents, I believe that the best resolution is the one where both parties have been actively involved in the process towards reaching a unified agreement.

This gives certainty to the resolution they arrived at, and might even preserve some of the relationship that existed between the parties prior to the dispute.

I am passionate about helping people find resolutions to problems, knowing that there are no issues which cannot be resolved by reasonable people compromising a little on each side to reach a settlement.

My approach is to permit the parties the latitude to discuss the issues in a rational and professional manner, with the hope that a resolution can be reached in an expeditious manner, causing the least amount of stress and time that these matters generally entail. Mediation saves the parties, time, cost, and emotional stress in a setting which is not aired publicly and allows for the parties to be as creative as possible in arriving at a resolution. Because the mediation is facilitative in nature, the parties tend to be satisfied with the result inasmuch as they have negotiated it themselves, with the assistance of the mediator.

Throughout my 40 years of legal experience with businesses I have been involved with a wide variety of people and circumstances – giving me a broad range of experience that helps me understand the issues that disputing parties experience, which allows me to assist them as they move towards a resolution.

I believe in this process because a mutually negotiated settlement allows both parties to be satisfied with the outcome, provide closure, and the possibility of saving the relationship that existed before the conflict, not to mention the time and money saved by avoiding litigation. It also allows the parties to be creative, with my assistance, in arriving at a different kind of resolution than a Court of Law might consider.

My enthusiasm towards assisting people resolve their conflicts has always been one of my strengths and I believe I can guide you towards a settlement that will be fair and reasonable for everyone involved.
